چکیده مقاله

The present article aims at predicting the organizational culture of the staff of the National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran (NLAI) through knowledge management. This research is descriptive of correlation type in terms of applied purpose and collecting data. The population under study includes the entire staff of NLAI. All the staff were considered a statistical sample through the census (N = 315). In order to collect the opinions, two questionnaires were used for the knowledge management: Shahgholian (2005) and Denison's organizational culture questionnaires. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed using the content validity method and confirmed by several commentators in the field of management after correction. Cronbach's alpha test was used to obtain the reliability of the questionnaires. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.81 for management knowledge questionnaire, and 0.92 for organizational culture questionnaire. In this way, the two tools were confirmed and given to respondents. After collecting data and entering them in to the computer using SPSS software, Pearson correlation test and Regression were used for data analysis. The results of the research indicated that there existed a significant relationship between organizational culture and knowledge management in the National Library. The coefficient of determination is 64.0, which indicates that the organizational culture variable determines 64% of the variable of knowledge management variance. The results of regression analysis also represented five important components of organizational culture including change, goals and objectives, empowerment, fundamental values and outlook which account for about 70% of variance of knowledge management variable
